1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Services and through related communications with TractSignal.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites, services, or platforms that TractSignal does not control.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how the Services operate now or in the future, TractSignal may collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly. This may include your email address, name, company name, contact details, communications, support requests, signup information, waitlist submissions, account registration details, and any other information you choose to provide.
- Usage and device information. This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring URLs, pages viewed, interactions with the Services, timestamps, crash data, diagnostics, and general usage information.
- Approximate location information. If you use location-based functionality such as a "find me on map" or similar feature, the Services may access device or browser-provided location information to help center the map or improve the user experience. TractSignal does not currently intend to store precise location data, but reserves the right to process location-related information transiently as needed to provide the feature.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Services may use cookies, local storage, browser storage, pixels, SDKs, tags, and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, analytics, preferences, performance, and future account-related features.
- Analytics and authentication tools. TractSignal may use analytics and infrastructure tools, including Google Analytics and Firebase / Google authentication-related services, now or in the future, to understand site usage, operate future account features, and improve the Services.
- Google login and future accounts. If TractSignal later offers sign-in with Google or other authentication providers, TractSignal may receive basic account or profile information from those providers as permitted by the user and the provider.
3. How We Use Information
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
- provide map, search, export, signup, support, account, and future subscription features;
- analyze traffic, site performance, and product usage;
- communicate with users about support, updates, product changes, or future offerings;
- detect, prevent, investigate, and address fraud, abuse, scraping, misuse, infringement, security incidents, and legal violations;
- enforce these Terms and protect TractSignal's rights, users, systems, and business.
4. No Sale of Personal Information for Money
TractSignal does not sell personal information for money.
TractSignal does not currently use third-party retargeting pixels or cross-context behavioral advertising technologies. If that changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
5. How We May Disclose Information
- to service providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, authentication providers, infrastructure vendors, and similar vendors that help operate the Services;
- to comply with law, legal process, court order, subpoena, or lawful governmental request;
- to protect TractSignal's rights, property, safety, systems, users, or the public;
- in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, asset sale, acquisition, restructuring, or similar transaction;
- with your direction or consent.
6. Data Retention
TractSignal may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, maintain security, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce its rights and agreements.
Because the Services are evolving, data retention practices may change over time. TractSignal reserves the right to delete, anonymize, aggregate, retain, or suppress data as appropriate for operational, legal, or security reasons.
7. Security
TractSignal uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and TractSignal cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Services are not intended for, and are not directed to, anyone under 18. If TractSignal becomes aware that personal information from a person under 18 has been submitted in violation of this Policy, TractSignal may delete that information.
9. Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, some users may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction, portability, or opt-out requests. TractSignal may provide request mechanisms if and when legally required.

10. International Users
The Services are intended for users in the United States. TractSignal does not currently target users outside the United States.
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States.
11. Changes to this Policy
TractSignal may update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Services. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
